- SELL TO
US:
We
are interested in quality pushchairs which are in excellent to
as-new condition. All MUST comply with British Standard
7409:1996 or BS EN 1888:2003. Look for the label
stating that the pram or pushchair complies with BS 7409 or BS
EN 1888. These labels are usually found on the frame or seat
covering.
We do not buy damage or modified pushchairs.
Brakes must work perfectly, tyres must be in good condition
and have good tread left on them and there must be minimal
wheel-wear on buggies. There must be no undue rust or other
wear which you would not expect to find on an as-new
pushchair.
Fabrics should state "Carelessness Causes Fire" on
them to comply with Fire Safety Regulations.
We prefer to buy pushchairs which were manufactured within the
past 5 years. We do sell older models occasionally
Please remember that we need to make a profit and pay to store
your used buggy and so price sensibly
If you live locally feel free to email or call us with
details of what you wish to sell. We will let you know if we
are interested and if we are arrange a mutually convenient
time to meet up. We can either buy outright or list your
pushchair here and collect it from you when we have sold it
and pay then.
If you live furtherafield please email us with details
and send as many pictures as possible. We are able to arrange
affordable courier collection at your expense if we agree to
buy or list for you on a consignment basis. Courier costs must
be paid upfront. If the pushchair doesnt meet our standards
when it arrives we will arrange return at your expense or
agree to buy/sell for a lesser amount. Hence, it's best to
send as many pictures as possible and point out any defects
before sending.

- HOW DO
WE SERVICE OUT BUGGIES:
Before listing
a pushchair for sale we try it out at least 4 times with
children in it! This way we are able to pick up any faults it
might have and sort them if need be (or make our descriptions
more accurate when selling) and can give a more honest opinion
on each pushchair in our listings.
- Before sending:
We clean the pushchair ready for use, wash the covers if need
be, oil the wheels, clean and polish the wheels so they
sparkle (if possible!) and polish the frame. Naturally with used
pushchairs they will not be like new - but try our
hardest to make them look their best for you.
If you are collecting and wish to have the pushchair cleaned
for you after trying it out/inspecting it (naturally this will
mess the wheels up a bit!) you can either come back half an
hour later to collect it or collect on another day, allowing
us time to re-clean anything that needs doing.
