Emmaljunga Grizzly with Toddler
Seat
I have a soft spot for these as one saved my life when I had
my second child in 1995 and was in tears because I couldnt push
the bulk-standard tandems. Double pushchairs were awful back
then and needed lots of strength to push. I had several of these
over the years and found them to be great on and off-roaders and
easy to push

Still current but for sale
My lovely Bugaboo Cameleon
I bought sand and red base fabrics and lots of tailored
fleeces and Poshbugs fabrics to funk it up. I also bought new
front wheels so I had some sparkly new ones and a 2008 chassis
which I wrap in sheets to keep it scratch free. Anal about my
pushchairs? Hmmmm - OK I admit it!
Ok - for sale!

COSATTO DUET LITE
Same as the Mothecare Hoxton. I bought a Hoxton for holidays
and leaving it in the car and loved pushing it and found it very
sturdy and worth the price. Prefer the Hoxton to this as it came
with a footmuff - but I'd recommend these if your budget cant
stretch to a Phil & teds
My ex-Mothehcare Hoxton is below
Sold Sept 2008

MARCO SKY L
A good budget tandem but too high handles for me and also
the hood covers the back seat too much for toddlers. Brilliant
value for the price though
Sold Sept 2008

Sold Sept 2008

My PHIL & TEDS E3
It originally had red covers but I changed these to new
black ones imported from the USA. The US covers seem to be
better quality than UK ones for some reason. Loved this but
found my toddler pressed on the footplate and hit the wheel so
imported a Sport from the US as the wheel is further away from
the footrest |

An older Phil & Teds E3 I
bought and did up and sold on |

Maclaren Twin Traveller. Now a
Techno but I think I preferred it like this as this seemed
lighter and easier to push. Seats are too narrow for my toddlers
though. Ideal for holidays |

My MOUNTAIN BUGGY RANGER XL
Bought as a special needs buggy as it will fit 6 months to 11
years and has a higher hood and seat rest than the usual MB
terrain but otherwise is the same. I changed the footplate for a
normal one and now use this for country walks as I can push with
one hand and walk dog with other. Love love love it!!
For sale!

My first ever proper pushchair. Bought new and stretched our
budget as we woz broke back in the early 90's and had to live
off baked beans. This is by Britax and I often get
similar ones in (Mothercare Olympus and Britax) but more recent
models come with hoods. The only reason why I sold it recently
was because of the lack of hood. Compact when folded, a dream to
push round town, a SENSIBLE metal shopping tray not like the
silly net ones you get these days which break if you put
anything in them! And of course the baby could face you - you
have to pay silly money to get that these days. Back in the 80's
and 90's most pushchairs could face you. |

A Mothercare Olympus (In fact two!)
- similar to my britax on the left but they added stuff like
hood and apron. When I get these in grab them for Granny as they
are fab!

|
SILVER CROSS TANDEM. They should
bring these back!! Fab to push and if they revamped them with
hoods they would be best sellers I am sure! |

Caitlin in a Maclaren buggy. Bought
secondhand in the 90's and still going strong 15 years later!
Lightweight and great for holidays. I love Maclaren buggies!! |

A friend's Phil & teds E3. She
didnt get on with it so I advertised it for her |

Maclaren Triumph. Took it to
Tunisia but sold it soon after as I prefer the Quest |

My Mountain Buggy Urban Double.
I thought I was buying a terrain but this arrived. Kept it for 2
years as it was so good. Ideal for heavier children and easy
peasy to push. But too large for me to store inside.
Sold August 2008

Quinny Zapp in mauve. I still
have 2 of these. One for car seat use and t'other for holidays.
I like them as they are so small when folded so can be left in
the car and take up no space and very easy to use. Dont like the
lack of shopping basket but have fixed this with buggy baskets
and anti-tip weights on the front |

Maclaren Opus Duo.Ideal as a holiday buggy but my
children of very different weights didnt suit it.

Mothercare Toscana. From 1998. An oldie
but a goodie too. Amazingly expensive at the time and came with
everything. But today people seem to prefer to spend £hundreds
on a pushchair where the baby can face you and leave these
oldies on the shelf at give away prices! This one was a bargain
and went to Hungary. As new too pretty much.
