tailored fabrics etc

Accessory page because like many people I used to think 'ewww, weird
looking overpriced things. I am so not having one. Ever!'
And then one day I bought a cameleon on impulse - and never looked back.
Forget the
hype, forget the fact that loads of Celebs push these - the reason why
so many people own these is because they are so fantastic to push and
use. And if you add up what you get with these and compare it to other
brands with the same spec they really don't come out as being that
expensive. I have also found that Bugaboo customer service is second to
none and in line with what you'd expect from an 'expensive' pushchair.

Used
but very good condition. Carrycot fabric, seat fabric,
mattress, raincover, hood, shopping basket and chassis
included in sale. Bought 2006. |
| Any
defects we have found: |
Normal
scratches on chassis and plastic (wheels etc) from
everyday but very well cared for. Has been well looked
after. Slight
fade on the hood of black fleeces but looks fine and if this
bothers you they are easy to replace. Few marks on back of
the seat unit low down but hard to see. The shopping
basket is marked on the top and not sure this will come
out but in any case very hard to see when in use.
Pink and
red fleeces and girly fabrics (see accessory page) are as
new

In
good condition and a dream to push. One of my favourite
makes and models. Easy to customize to your own taste as a
range of coloured fleeces and fabrics are available for
hood and apron and seat. The carrycot can be used
independently.
Good for couples of different height as the
handlebar can be extended and lowered very easily. The
brake is operated from a lever on the handlebar which
saves your feet - love this feature! It's easy to turn the
seat around to have the child face you or face forward.
Only things I dont like really is that you have to remove
the seat unit to fold it, the 2 wheel beach mode is hard
and heavy and having the large wheels in front makes going
up and down kerbs hard - but with snow wheels instead of
the swivel wheels (bought separately) it's as good as a
mountain buggy on rough ground!
If you've dithered about getting one and don't understand
what the fuss is about the Bugaboo - try one and you will
be converted!
